I have a confession.

When I earned my Ph.D. in Gender & Interpersonal Communication, I believed I understood relationships completely.

And then … I got married.
And divorced.

That experience changed everything.

It taught me that lasting love is not just about communication. It is about choosing the right partner, recognizing true compatibility, and understanding the deeper dynamics that make a relationship work.

After my divorce, I turned to online dating—just like many of my clients.
